Govt to continue political, moral support of Kashmiris: PM

ISLAMABAD, Nov 2 : Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday said Pakistan’s principled stance on Kashmir issue remains unchanged and the government will continue extending political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir. Talking to AJK’s President Raja Zulqarnian Khan and Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider at the PM House, Gilani said the whole nation is united on Kashmir issue and Pakistan wants its early resolution according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Mentioning his recent meetings with the various world leaders, the Prime Minister said that he had highlighted the Kashmir dispute and emphasized its resolution.

Raja Zulqarnain Khan appreciated Prime Minister Gilani’s endevours in raising the issue of Kashmir at every forum and thanked the government and people of Pakistan for the support towards their Kashmiri brethren.

Prime Minister AJK Raja Farooq Haider also thanked the Prime Minister for his personal interest and the government of Pakistan’s active assistance for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the earthquake affected areas.
