PM says, no time frame for conclusion of Waziristan operation

MULTAN, Nov 15 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Sunday that no time frame can be given for conclusion of operation in South Waziristan, however, added that it will conclude successfully well before expectations of the nation. Talking to newsmen at Multan airport before his departure for the federal capital, PM said that no operation was being conducted in Balochistan.
To a question, PM said that country’s nuclear assets were in safe hands. He said that armed forces were performing their professional duties with responsibility.Responding to another question, PM Gilani said that Pakistan would be taken into confidence on any change in US Afghan policy.PM added that he had asked the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her last visit to Pakistan that US should consult Pakistan if it wants to make any change in its Afghan policy.
